Job Description

This role is the offering lead for IQVIA’s “Commercial Support” related offering (educational grants, investigator initiated trials, charitable donations, fellowships, etc).

Responsibilities:

-Serve as the subject matter expert in investigator trials – including both business knowledge, as well as automation (software) knowledge
-Facilitate development of our offering by working with the following teams: Sales, Product, Consulting, Managed Services and Delivery
-Point person for strategic coordination with other relevant IQVIA departments (ex: Clinical trial group)
-Responsible for setting overall direction for product offerings, and working with consulting and managed services teams to help align the direction of their offerings within this area
-Assist with business development as subject matter expert – and to a lesser extent, assist with delivery/account management when needed
-Serve as the external facing subject matter expert in this area (not sales specifically, along with sales): attend/speak at conferences, roundtables, publish (along with consulting lead), etc.

Background:
-10-15+ years in related area (industry within medical affairs ideal)
-Preferred exposure to related offerings (knowledge of consulting, software and managed services offerings within this area)
-Strategic but also hands-on when needed
-Visionary but also detailed
-Ability to work with a varied group (developers one day, head of client medical affairs next)
-10-20% travel, global
