Job Description

Job Profile Summary:

Under supervision, provide support to compensation programs and annual processes for two global business units:  Research & Development Solutions (R&DS) and Real World Analytics Solutions (RWAS).  Assist with implementation of new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures.  Participate in global compensation projects to support continuous improvement of the compensation function. 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of compensation programs and projects.
  • Assist Compensation Team with developing job descriptions, performing market analysis and proposing recommendations on promotions, internal equity, market adjustments and salary offers.
  • Provide analytical reports, analyses and insight to support management, HR on a range of compensation related topics.
  • Provide direct support for Workday merit and bonus cyclical processes, which includes testing, implementation, communication and training.
  • Assist in developing client deliverables, including reports and presentations.
  • Learn the compensation function through on-the-job activities and formal learning opportunities.
  • Learn and keep current with compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure work product compliance.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of broad-based compensation or financial/analytical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to details.  Sound understanding of basic statistics and principles.
  • Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills. Workday HRIS experience a plus
  • Solid organizational and good communications skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Ability to proactively identify problems and develop recommendations to solve problems.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a global matrix work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
