Role Purpose:

Under guidance, this role will provide support to the Compensation Director who is responsible for the global Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) design/accruals, salary and wage base planning (merit), process improvement and LEAN initiatives for the Compensation CoE, as well as other global compensation projects and initiatives.  The incumbent will work as part of the larger global Compensation CoE team.  The incumbent will also have secondary responsibility for the corporate compensation team as required.  Provides subject matter expertise and support to management and Human Resources on a range of compensation issues.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provides compensation reporting analysis, interpretation and support.
  • Administers annual compensation processes and communications.
  • Ensures compliance of compensation programs with Company compensation philosophy, financial goals and government regulations.
  • Assists in the development of programs to address the Company’s varied compensation needs.
  • Assists in creating, preparing for presentation and rolling out of new and revised compensation plans for various businesses throughout the assigned area. Participates in sub process teams for various global compensation initiatives for global processes and systems. 
  • Participates in special compensation-focused projects
  • Creates ad-hoc analyses to support management, Human Resources and global compensation as required.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of two years (2) progressively responsible compensation experience. Knowledge of compensation theories and practices.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a team member. Ability to carry out moderate anlaysis and information gathering to resolve problems on non-routine matters. Solid organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Excellent mathematical , analytical,  oral and written communications skills. Strong  Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
