Commercial Affairs Executive - Dublin


IQVIA are currently looking to hire a Commercial Affairs Executive to primarily produce and communicate robust data and analytics for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. This key role is to monitor and report on the market and pricing & reimbursement trend, enabling our client to communicate and influence policy on the basis of sound evidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse key market access and commercial matters of interest to the industry

• Conduct primary and secondary market research and prepare robust analyses and reports to inform company policies and strategies e.g.

- Surveys for the client to evaluate the changing environment and inform policy positions

- Structure of the market in Ireland and quantitative impact of changes in that structure, including changes in reimbursement schemes

- Development of company data analysis models

- Review of EU and other relevant markets, in particular, bringing forward comparative analysis of Ireland and other countries

• Manage and coordinate the implementation, accuracy and utilisation of clients online Tracker, providing key reports and analyses as required

• Manage and coordinate Rewards and Recognition Survey

• Monitor and research externally published health data and analysis that has relevance to pharmaceutical policy and expenditure

• Prepare content for company position papers and external advocacy documents


• Degree Level qualification in business, economics or bioscience

• Post graduate degree in business/economics/health economics an advantage

• Strong analytical skills with intermediate/advanced excel training/knowledge

• Well developed verbal and communication skills

• Experience in a commercial or business analysis role, ideally in (but not limited to) the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare sectors;

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical pricing and/or pharmacoeconomics/health technology assessment highly desirable;

• Knowledge of the broader healthcare environment in Ireland, public health policy and the key stakeholders for the pharmaceutical industry desirable;

• Demonstrated IT proficiency, in particular with database and spreadsheet applications (advanced skills in Excel are essential).
