Job Description


As leader of the Onco-Hematology Center of Excellence you will work directly with clients to provide value added input and to deliver solutions built around strategic issues. You will have responsibility for business development, client relationship development, thought leadership, mentoring, and ensuring delivery of high levels of client satisfaction by:

  • Developing and delivering onco-hematology client solutions across the full continuum of IQVIA offerings (i.e. consulting, real world insights, information, technology and RDS).
  • Working collaboratively with internal IQVIA stakeholders to build solution packages focused on the onco-hematology client base.
  • Continuously developing and enhancing our onco-hematology offering strategy and go to market approach (i.e. client segmentation, offering positioning across the client product lifecycle, account planning, marketing & promotion, thought leadership and commercial approach).
  • Acting as primary owner of onco-hematology stakeholder relationships with ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and delivering high levels of quality/added value.
  • Meeting or exceeding assigned onco-hematology revenue targets by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address complex client issues.
  • Developing internal teams on onco-hematology expertise, including by sharing subject matter expertise to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients.

Skills & Experience

Candidates interested in filling the position of Onco-Hematology CoE should have:

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills
  • Deed onco-hematology subject matter expertise
  • Existing relationships with onco-hematology stakeholders (e.g. industry, KOLs, academics, payers, patient associations, etc…)
  • Track record of ability to sell high quality, high value projects to clients
  • Strong capability in managing initiatives and juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high quality outcomes
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, business and report writing
  • Ability to drive Business Development independently
  • Experience of working in sizable/ multi-disciplined teams and supervising staff
  • Experience of developing credible relationships with executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals  

Qualifications & Other requirements

In addition to the skills and experience above, candidates interested in filling the Onco-Hematology CoE Leader position should have:

  • Strong academic track record including minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Degree related to onco-hematology area highly desirable but not essential)
  • At least 12 years professional experience in onco-hematology (e.g. consulting, pharmaceutical and healthcare industry) with evidence of career progression
  •  A willingness and ability to travel to client locations
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written). Spanish highly desirable.
  • Right to live and work in the recruiting country
