We are currently looking to recruit an Clinical Lead (dependent on level of experience) to be based within our ANZ Biotech Delivery Unit Project Leadership Team.  The successful candidate will ideally be based out of Sydney, Melbourne but homebased in other areas of Australia will be considered for the right experience.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership capabilities who has managed phase I and II ANZ studies, a track record in managing customer expectations, exceptional communication skills and motivation to succeed, who is looking to move into a Project Lead within a fast paced, dynamic and customer focused Project Leadership team. CRO and Mandarin speaking is highly sought after.
 
As a Clinical Lead, you will manage the execution of the assigned clinical study(ies) per contract, from initiation through to closeout.  You will ensure that all project deliverables under your remit are completed to the Sponsor's satisfaction, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget and in accordance with SOPs, policies and practices.
 
 
In order to be considered it is essential that you are also able to demonstrate the following, skills and experience: 
  • The ability to be able to successfully lead and drive a project team to meet customer expectations
  • Excellent customer management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders across the business and work collaboratively with colleagues from different functional areas
  • Track record in delivering on Recruitment Strategy at a site level
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, including good command of English language
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • An in-depth knowledge of, and skill in applying, applicable clinical research regulatory requirements; i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines
  • An understanding of Project Financial Management

 

Job Requirements

To be successful, you will have a bachelor's degree in life sciences or other related field and/or a minimum 5 years' clinical research experience including some experience within project management of clinical trials.  We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership qualities, a motivated self-starter who is able to work well both autonomously and within a team.

In addition, the following skills and experience are highly desirable
  • Experience working within Australia. Experience within the Asia-Pacific region, with some knowledge of the unique aspects of the countries within will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in  managing the full project lifecycle
  • Experience working on Oncology Phase I/II studies and/or Phase I Healthy Volunteer/patient SAD/MAD studies
  • Working knowledge of IQVIA systems: CTMS, QRPM, Infosario, PeopleSoft Finance
