Job Description

  • Position Overview:
    • The Commercial Services Client Success Manager (Engagement Manager) is a critical role across the entire U.S. Business Unit (USBU) for the Commercial Services (CS) team and the Consulting Services Team, that ensures successful delivery services for our key clients, and coordinating a Communication Plan to the internal team, and orchestrating the orchestrated Communication Plan to the client stakeholders..  You will be working closely with leaders of IQVIAs Commercial Services leads and Account Directors from our Sales team.  Accountable for managing ongoing Delivery Roadmap and Communication Planning, and coordinating input to the Account Planning process, owned by the Account Directors.  Leads all project meetings with internal team members. 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plan, RACI, SWOT analysis, and the orchestrated communication plan in the delivery of client solutions across Commercial Services.
  • Track and coordinate staff utilization and Delivery across all existing CS SOWs and Change Orders.
  • Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems. Serves as key point of contact with Account Director.
  • Provide process to follow-up with client after project deliverable have been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in CS business line meetings, and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.
  • Proactively mentors, coaches and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients. 
  • Tracks and supports the completion of internal CS projects.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of related experience including consulting and pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry experience. 
  • Possesses demonstrated expertise in one or more practice areas.
  • Demonstrates excellent project management skills and client influencing and relationship building skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Understanding of IQVIA data assets and the Commercial Services and Consulting Services core offerings.
  • Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals and is effective working in a matrix environment. 
  • Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives within IQVIA
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Project, or other project management tools like SmartSheet.
  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area. 
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. 
  • Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills. 
  • Has established network and referral contacts.
  • Possesses the necessary subject matter expertise and project management skills able to effectively manage projects across more than one practice area.
