We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for Cardiovascular Metabolic Sales Representative to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.   In this role you will be supporting Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies. Janssen Pharmaceuticals, is the PR Sales and Marketing Division of Ortho-McNeil®, Division of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.  Janssen strives to provide innovative, high quality, safe and effective treatments to advance patient care.  We are involved in hospital and institutional settings.  We help healthcare professionals meet their patients' needs. 
Cardiovascular Metabolism Sale Representative - the Professional Sales Representative is primarily responsible for achieving sales forecast  of promoted products and, subsequently,  positioning the key products as preferred in the   assigned territory.  This is accomplished by establishing mutually beneficial, long-term business relationships with influential a physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare providers key to the sales success of promoted products.  Demonstrates a thorough understanding of customer needs and is also responsible for assisting in coordinating and implementing sales strategies to maximize sales in assigned territory.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum BA/BS required; preferably in business or scientific field. M.A. /M.B.A. a plus. Demonstrated academic success and proficiency. International academic exchange programs and/or internship programs with recognized companies, a plus.
  • Two (2) or more years sales, bio-pharmaceutical, marketing, healthcare, or business related experience will be considered.
  • Prior sales experience with documented results is preferred.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Computer skills with office systems (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and sales management information technology systems is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel if as needed within Puerto Rico and US.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish).
  • Valid Puerto Rico drivers license required with clean driving record
