Contract Specialist- Strategic Partnerships
Provides analysis and support for business development initiatives including coordination, preparation, review and processing of assigned customers contracts and change orders. Data gathering and coordination of data resources, market research and analysis, production of proposals, cost models, presentations, and reports.
Manage the day-to day contract development process.
  • Act as the contract expert ensuring consistency in approach, metrics and format.
  • Develop and prepare contracts
  • Work closely with project team members to determine appropriate terms and conditions of contracts.
  • Ensure scope of work is appropriately defined and budgets appropriately reflect scope of services.
  • Preform quality control edits on all documents
  • Work closely with BD Team members to ensure collaboration and drive efficiencies.
  • Leverage datasets to conduct company and product research to drive account targeting, segmentation, and scoring models for business development lead generation.
  • Provide support and assistance in the preparation of text and budget for proposals, rebids and related documents with input from sponsors, project leaders, and functional groups.
  • Obtain and package data needed for proposals and presentations from the Business Development team and other internal sources.
  • Participate in the finalization of documents and distribution to the customer and internal departments
  • Identify potential opportunities for additional business with existing customers.
  • Maintain CRM database and coordinate with other departments.
  • Run reports for business development activity and opportunities via CRM system,
  • Add and update document repository for business development templates, proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent analytical and research skills
• Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook, and Internet)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Must be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers                         
Minimum Required Education and Experience: 
• Bachelor’s degree in business, science or other related discipline and 2-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 
  • Pharmaceutical/CSO experience in Sales, Business Development or Finance is preferred.
