Role Summary

An exciting opportunity is now available within the US & Canada RBU Commercial Operations Team. The Business Analyst role is unique and there are two core objectives of this role.

(1) This person will provide operational and administrative support to the VP, Commercial Ops & Strategic Programs, US & Canada.

(2) The Business Analyst will to work on ad-hoc projects, manipulate data for presentations, plan mini-events and think critically to make positive and value adding contributions to IQVIA.

  • Responsibilities Assembles and analyzes information, prepares reports, manuals, agendas, presentations, correspondence and memoranda.
  • Creates spreadsheets and manipulates data into meaningful analysis for the business. Researches best practices, recommends and implements process improvements.
  • Event planning and coordination. Under general supervision and acting on own initiative, performs diverse and advanced administrative duties for senior leadership.
  • Assists with preparations for client / supplier meetings and presentations.
  • Assists with preparations and roll out of any internal initiatives as required.
  • Follows up with other departments to ensure that requests are carried out.
  • Arranges appointments and travel reservations/arrangements and prepares and processes expense reports.
  • Prepares materials in final form from rough drafts, typically from multiple sources.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required

  • Business related degree and demonstrated operational or consulting experience. High level of proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Word required (additional Project and Visio experience desired).
  • Prior experience processing expense report and vendor invoices desired (Concur and eProcure experience desired).
  • Executive calendar management desired (experience scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, making travel reservations).
  • Must be comfortable working outside of business hours when necessary.
  • Used to working in an international and rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, in particular, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills. Ability to synthesize and summarize.
  • High attention to detail. Effective time management.
  • Additional Requirements Knowledge of the business and/or organization and IQVIA products, policies and programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
