Position Overview:

As the Product Manager for one of the most exciting products and datasets at IQVIA, AIM XR, you will be responsible for evolving this product to meet growing use cases and market demand.  From bringing Natural Language Processing (NLP) on our data to life, to elevating go to market strategy and data delivery, you will help drive the financial success of the product.  The successful candidate for this role will liaise with product development, data science, product strategy and our sales and marketing teams. You will become an AIM XR product Subject Matter Expert (SME) guiding the product in its next substantial growth phase. 

The ideal candidate will work in a highly collaborative organization that values quality and shared interaction. To be successful this candidate will:

  • Have a deep background in product management in an agile environment, preferably in the healthcare space
  • Possess significant digital and technical aptitude and experience 
  • Be an excellent communicator across stakeholders including development teams, product owners, product strategists and sales and marketing staff
  • Drive and execute on the value proposition of AIM XR in multiple verticals, including pharma, provider, publisher and payors
  • Understand the media landscape, programmatic advertising and omnichannel marketing 
  • Own the competitive product (challenger) landscape, knowledge and positioning
  • Become a product advocate and SME to both customers and internal stakeholders alike
  • Be passionate about marketing, data, quality, and collaboration with sincere empathy for customer challenges

Location: This role is completely remote.

Essential Functions

  • Lead product planning and documentation efforts including leading the quarterly AIM XR roadmap efforts.
  • Collaborate with other AIM XR stack leads to keep roadmap items progressing forward.
  • Be the point person on communicating roadmap progress to leadership.
  • Set the strategic goals for the product each quarter in collaboration with the Senior Director of AIM XR Product & Strategy.
  • Grow the AIM XR product in existing and new verticals.
  • Act as the interface between the product strategy team, sales team and technical teams.
  • Drive product quality and evolve product delivery.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, enhancing product documentation.
  • This includes internal product documentation such as wiki pages as well as product training for new employees.
  • Creation and conceptualization of external facing marketing materials, such as sales slides, one-pagers, and eBooks in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Creation and delivery of training materials, thought leadership, webinars, and client workshops.
  • Identify new product features and enhancements to meet clients and prospects needs.
  • Be responsible for the prioritization of these needs with development and sales teams.
  • Communicate product objectives and timelines to all stakeholders including senior management.
  • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry as well as assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat.
  • Support product sales.
  • As an AIM XR subject matter expert, the product manager will join client facing calls to assist in client strategy and the development of new uses cases for the product. 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred 
  • 8+ years of professional experience required
  • Experience in two or more of the following areas preferred, but not required: Pharmaceutical / Hospital / Med Device / Healthcare markets understanding the major and minor unique aspects of these markets and demonstrate the ability to successfully create and sell-in products.
  • Product marketing (data and/or technology): The importance of delivering a product that meets and exceeds clients expectations developed and set forth in sales process.
  • Product management: Managing products from inception to mature stage. Product documentation and training. Understand how to work in an agile development environment. SCRUM experience is a plus.
  • Sales support: Significant experience leading an audience of prospective buyers to convince and explain product benefits and use cases. Ability to provide thought leadership around digital behavioral data within the healthcare space.
  • Previous omnichannel marketing experience on behalf of health care companies or hospitals.
  • Demonstrated experience strategizing and communicating product marketing plans that utilizes data or technology as a core.  
  • Proven ability to execute thought leadership in a way that brings attention to the product and increases market interest.
  • Must be an excellent communicator in both verbal and written channels ranging from internal memos, leadership presentations, to speaking engagements at major industry conferences.
  • Experience working with all levels of the organization and indirectly enlist their cooperation on projects.
