The primary focus of this position is to support the oversight and management of the Customers assets (projects and strategic initiatives) within IQVIA RWE Biostatistics. The RWE Biostatistics Operation Director will be empowered with strategic decision-making responsibility for assigned managed partnership programs, and specific customer units. The RWE Biostatistics Operation Director will be responsible for the coordination of the IQVIA RWE Biostatistics process improvement and maintenance.


• Support the management of designated customers account globally to provide leadership oversight to customer and IQVIA RWE Biostatistics assigned project teams and lead the development of and adherence by all project teams to operations manuals specific.
• Team member responsible for the development of designated customer tools and operating principles
• Serve as a key operational management contact to designated customer accounts; responsible for ensuring appropriate communication channels are maintained
• Ensure the appropriate implementation and ongoing management, overseeing customer relationship management, resourcing per contract specifications, quality deliverables on time and the requisite financial performance.
• Work with IQVIA RWE Biostatistics members to develop requisite pricing models and associated resource plans
• Coordinate IQVIA RWE Biostatistics process improvements and interoffice/interdepartmental task forces; oversee collection and reporting of Biostatistics metrics, implementation of revised work practices, new guidelines, and new software tools
• Overseeing proposal preparation, ensuring that all proposals bid by the department have an adequate budget, and sufficiently detailed set of budget assumptions

• In-depth knowledge of CRO Biostatistics environment

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients

Minimum required education and experience

• 5 years relevant experience as Lead Statistician in global CRO environment
• PhD or educational equivalent in biostatistics or related field and 6 years relevant experience; or Masters degree or educational equivalent in biostatistics or related field and 10 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
