JOB OVERVIEW

Job Profile Summary

Develop and maintain onboarding procedures for new employees and employees joining a specific Customer team, working closely with Management, IT, QA Specialists, Training Specialists and Finance Analysts from both Quintiles and Customer.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Ensure adequate procedures are put in place to respect onboarding requirements (IQVIA and Customer) and upgrades/enhancements made to systems in place

Maintain and publish the Customer Team Training Plan; Conduct the initial “in-house” Customer training sessions, if applicable

Develop clear email communications to welcome new members and disseminate information required for new member to become trained, integrated and productive

Coordinate system access and accounts to ensure new users have timely access to Customer systems for training and production work

Attend Customer IT/support teams meetings, as required, to discuss and resolve onboarding requirements and support issues.

Provide first line of support to end-users: analyze data points to determine the root cause of a problem and perform the necessary functions to resolve the problem

Act a as the SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for the IQVIA  team to coordinate any support needed from Customer IT, SAS system Specialist or subject matter experts

Keep track of system downtime and response time for resolution of technical/IT issues

Provide assistance for management of projects (specific to each customer)

Work with IQVIA and Customer training personnel to publish new/updated SOP/procedure training material and advise IQVIA team of new/updated training availability

Develop the necessary tools for tracking and ensuring the team remains compliant

Assist Management in timesheet verification to ensure adequate coding of hours

Assist Finance Analysts for invoicing activities

Compile data and provide management with Status Updates on Utilization of resources, Training and SOP Compliance, Performance Indicators and Metrics (KPI Sheet)

Experience

Typically requires 0 - 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Knowledge

Requires knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of a job area, typically obtained through advanced education.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Additional Work Experience

1 year of related experience in a clinical research environment

Or

Equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Skills and Abilities

Strong planning and organizational skills

Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle conflicting priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients

Good problem solving skills

Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications

Extensive knowledge of MS Excel

Results and detail-oriented approach to work delivery and output

Excellent customer service skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft server, workstation and networking technologies

Knowledge of the clinical drug development process

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
