Job description

  • Brainstorming with leadership to understand client requirements and designing impactful, customized proposals tailored to client needs (this would include developing proposal documents/presentations, storyboarding, case studies, proof of concept demonstrations and solution mock-ups)
  • Defining engagement scope for business and technical solutions to address client requirements, by assessing their met and unmet needs
  • Designing approach, framework, and timeline to implement commercially viable, tailored solutions from within the company's product and service portfolio
  • Working with each business head to ensure portfolio is translated and applied to each solution proposal correctly for maximum benefit to the deal (cost/fit/strategy)
  • Supporting business and sales teams in responding to general client queries about solutions and capabilities
  • Improving customer facing collateral and SME level knowledge in the sales process
  • Anchoring client visits - from planning, identifying key participants, story board for the meeting, reviewing content and planning demos/ team discussions
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of competitive landscape
  • Defining and implementing an opportunity management system to manage the bid pipeline, opportunity responses (including informal responses), request for proposals (RFP) or request for information (RFI)
  • Working closely with Knowledge Management to manage and develop repository comprising reusable artefacts for quick responses to bids
  • Identifying training needs and Mentoring (if applicable) junior colleagues to build a competent team focused on growth
  • Engaging onshore stakeholders proactively and regularly to identify upcoming opportunities and planning accordingly

What we’re looking for:

  • Total experience:
    • 2 -4 for Associate Consultants
    • 5-10 years for Consultants (team management experience is a plus with an emphasis on incubating and growing team)
  • Experience in Medtech (must have)
  • 2+ Expertise in the entire sales cycle, from need identification, to qualification, developing presales supporting documents to presales/solution proposal responses
  • Creative and business focused approach, with experience in thinking through the lens of end client objectives
  • Strong communication skills including excellent command on written and spoken English with an eye for detail
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and experience developing eye catching visuals in MS PowerPoint; experience in additional tools such as Adobe Illustrator is a plus
  • Experience organizing and customizing multiple sources of information to form a cohesive story; experience in building capability decks and case studies
  • Proficient in leading communication with internal and external stakeholders with minimal supervision
  • Proactive in identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid potential issues downstream
  • Ability to work independently and to be proactive; excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience liaising with multiple stakeholders across the company hierarchy and facilitating lead generation
  • Experience in market and competitive intelligence and assessing competitors
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and unstructured environment
  • Experience in pharma analytics delivery AND/OR Knowledge Management AND/OR Presales in Onshore-Offshore Model
  • Exposure to BI (Tableau, Excel-VBA, Spotfire etc.) and/or SQL (good to have)
  • Experience in patient data, IQVIA (ex-IMS Health) data sets, pharma consulting, advanced pharma analytics, forecasting, SFE, IC, MCM, and/or performance reporting (good to have)
