Job description

Job Overview:


Manages multiple technology and consulting projects of varying complexity and ensures on-time and on-budget delivery for clients in the life sciences field in Ukraine, Adriatic and Baltic (UAB) cluster. Contributes to new business development, tender participations and maintaining and strengthening client base, relations at government and provider level. May support the development of new offerings and other region project delivery or client engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Development an extensive IQVIA Lift & Shift (L&S) and Payer Provider Government (PPG) pipeline in UAB

  • Develop and maintain relations with government, hospital, health care service providers, donors

  • UAB PPG plan P&L responsibility

  • Project Management and co-ordination

  • Tender preparation and negotiations with partners and consortium members

  • Competitor and market monitoring


Essential Functions:

  • Manages project teams including both internal and external resources in the design, development and delivery of client solutions.

  • Leads teams to review and analyze client requirements or challenges and develops and costs associated proposals that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction with limited if any senior management input.

  • Manages the process of proposal and tender offers preparation with modifications including overall bid integrity.

  • Develops project plan with timelines and deliverables and leads project to successful completion, on-time and on-budget, from start to finish with limited senior management guidance.

  • Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.

  • Serves as key point of contact with client.

  • Provides high level input to, and ensures the development of, client reports and presentations and delivers all or significant portions of findings to client.

  • Develops and/or elevates new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new leads.

  • Provides follow-up with client after project deliverable have been completed to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.

  • Proactively mentors, coaches and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients.


Required Background:

Technology / solution knowledge with Project Management skills

Sales skills - 5y+ experience and know how in services selling process in the health care (against the client needs)

Healthcare Provider profile background and solutions provider experience:

-clinical systems supplier to hospitals - worked in BD/Sales/SME role 

-has worked for either healthcare provider (acute hospital experience is useful) or supplier

  -Payer / Government background also useful, but acute hospital experience is very valuable

-Deep understanding of IT systems used within healthcare (including both Clinical and operational systems)

-Understanding public space vs. private sector (best to have experience from both areas)

Business development responsibility for multi country IT HC projects

Relations with KOL and GOV development & maintain (key target are GOV, HOS, donors like WHO, WorldBank, UNICEF, USAid, other)

People & project management:

  -will have 1 direct report PPG Administrator responsible for tender preparation, consortium co-ordination, admin on project implementation)

-Co-operation with Project Managers responsible for big project implementation

-Co-operation with consortium members and project team / external partners

-Experience in public tendering essential, experience in EU found application
