Job Overview

As a functional and clinical trials/Central labs domain/business expert, direct systems development and support activities for Clinical Trial/Central Lab Analytics, Business intelligence and enterprise Reporting solutions for internal and external functions. This position will supervise Key subject matter experts for all operational, internal & external analytics, business intelligence and reporting solutions for the enterprise.  Position will bring experience in application of modern technologies related to AI/ML, reporting and dashboarding to solve complex enterprise needs in the Clinical Trials/Central Lab industry


Essential Functions

  • Directs and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of enterprise level analytics, business intelligence and reporting requirements and needs in a Clinical Trials/Central Lab organization.
  • Apply subject matter expertise to drive, develop and implement product roadmap for all operational, internal & external analytics, business intelligence and reporting solution for the enterprise.
  • Conduct hands on data profiling using advanced SQL skills to understand implementation of trials across multiple core systems to develop requirements and drive interaction with end user and technical development team
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Directs the work of other business systems analysts supporting analytics, business intelligence and reporting portfolio
  • Support business with setup of test data in multiple core systems to support UAT for projects.
  • Understand and leverage application of AI/ML, Reporting and dashboarding technologies to solve problems for the enterprise
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.
  • Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Business Administration, or equivalent experience Req
  • 8 to 12 years of experience Req
  • Knowledge of business-wide applications (e.g. third-party software and internal operational applications, etc.) or Q2 Internal/client facing applications and products.
  • Full technical knowledge of systems analysis.
  • Ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying core system applications, and processes.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of business processes in Clinical Trials/Central Lab organization.
  • Experience in MS Power BI, understanding SQL databases and ability to write SQL queries with complex joins
  • Need relevant expertise in reporting / dashboarding solutions  (patient reporting, lab transaction metrics, integrations, sponsor analytics)
  • Experience leading teams and ownership of Enterprise analytics, business intelligence and reporting solutions as a product for the Clinical Trials/ Central Lab organization.
  • Demonstrated product ownership experience and ability to Implement product roadmap for all operational, internal and external analytics, business intelligence and reporting solution for the enterprise.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to apply AI/ML, Reporting and dashboarding technologies to solve problems for the Clinical Trials/ Central Lab enterprise
