Major Duties Performed (Main Functions)

  • Offering Development
  • Make short term and long term offering development plan and execute
  • Short term:  identify opportunities /areas to improve current diabetes patient study portfolio and maximize offering to the clients  via reposition and re-launch offering
  • Long term: To strengthen and broaden and offering portfolio to cover heath care client and  med-tech clients;
  • BD Support
  • To work with sales team to achieve the financial targets through effective product management of the offering suite;
  • Maintain and develop the product and services revenues working closely with the sales;
  • Identify opportunities to sell both individual IQVIA services and packaged solutions to support the client's business initiatives.  Manage the opportunity with the correct IQVIA personnel.
  • Provide input into business planning of the team and monitor own actual progress against plan.
  • Service of product
  • Proactively service and manage client expectations on a daily basis.
  • Provide regular contact and business reports as required by clients.
  • Prioritize workload to accommodate regular client support and ad hoc billable requests sometimes working to tight deadlines and short notice periods
  • Identify and obtain required levels of client training and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing of product
  • Identify any potential threats to existing IQVIA business within this client base including any client dissatisfaction, competitive activity, low usage or perceived value of existing services etc and either recommend or, where possible, take corrective action to rectify the situation.
  • Execute marketing activities to raise market awareness and generate actionable sales leads.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in clinical medicine / biology/ pharmacy
  • At least 3 years marketing experience in pharmaceutical company
  • Good understanding of the Diabetes market place coupled with commercial awareness and knowledge of key market players is a must
  • Clinical Diabetes background preferred
  • Has good relationship with KOL of diabetes market preferred
  • Client focus and demonstrated success in proactive client management
  • Successful service approach with major key accounts preferred
  • PC and technical knowledge, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and comfort with learning proprietary software
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good communication skills both in Chinese and English
  • Good teamwork, relationship building and interpersonal skills
