Inside Sales Leader

Job Summary

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a driven Inside Sales Leader to find potential customers, generate leads, arrange targeted introductory calls, demos and trials. This Leader will also lead the rest of the team, help drive success, provide status updates, and monitor team’s performance. We will provide training for the whole team to a high level to understand our solutions and be able to match this to a client’s issues, our own USPs and how to deal with objections accordingly.

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to lead and be a valuable member of the Inside Sales Team. As well as focus on outbound calling with the objective of booking product demonstrations and closing business for our data solution. This contributes directly to top line revenue growth and also aims to enhance prospective relationships and increase the volume of quality customer touch points.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Drive the number of the inside sales team; understand the correlation between activity and revenue
  • Monitor the team’s performance and motivate them to reach goals
  • Drive standards and KPI’s alongside the other leaders in the other regions throughout the globe
  • Provide weekly/monthly sales and revenue reports as well as realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Participate in recruiting, objectives setting, and coaching of your team
  • Build relationships across the business unit, Global Market Insights (GMI)
  • Work with the Global Sales Director on developing sales strategies along with setting targets

Inside Sales Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing relevant companies
  • Calling new business prospects
  • Strive to meet and exceed all established call and revenue targets
  • Customer interaction:
    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business, challenges and strategy, in order to become partner of choice
    • Developing and growing a network of key contacts across clients at all levels
    • Continually develop and update own knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical and consumer health industry, IQVIA and offerings and that of nominated client base

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a sales team as well as proven inside sales experience and a passion for new business sales
  • Relevant industry experience and knowledge of the company’s market
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing a high number of calls per day
  • Thrive in a quick sales cycle environment
  • Demonstrable skills in problem solving
  • Ability to articulate a customer’s issue by offering the best IQVIA solution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to interpret and present complex concepts
