Job Description

Role Purpose:

Manages an operational/production and client service team within US business unit. Ensures the quality and timeliness of production and delivers quality, speed, and efficiency improvements. Partners with the business units, providing subject matter expertise and direction on production and client service issues

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Translates and implements production strategy for LAAD & FIA services
  • Schedules, controls and manages all production activities, directing work within own team of production and client service analysts
  • Ensures quality and timeliness of production deliverables
  • Organizes, schedules and directs staff
  • Reviews, approves and implements standardized procedures across all production environments
  • Performs ongoing analysis and evaluation of existing processes with the objective of providing continuous quality, speed and efficiency improvements. 
  • Responsible for managing and mentoring 4-5 employees.
  • Ensures all activities within department remain in line with approved budget.
  • Works closely with the business unit to support clients and delivery against growth expectations
  • Acts as production SME in production related issues and launch of new offerings and services
  • May have direct client contact on a regular basis
  • Drives the business/department in development and implementation of new systems and offerings
  • Drives ongoing analysis and evaluation of existing processes with the objective of providing continuous improvements.
  • Ensures all activities are performed within budget and looks for opportunities for cost reduction

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of six (6) years of experience.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a production environment. 
  • Graduate degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Project management experience.
  • Team and performance management experience.
  • Experience in quality assurance methodologies and/or process improvement.

Organization Reporting and Scope:

  • Typically reports to:  Dir, Client Service
  • Management scope (number of full-time employees): 4-5     
  • Annual budget scope (If applicable): $1 M
