The Associate Director of Business Development, eCOA Technologies will conduct the necessary activities to help deliver annual sales targets for the IQVIA eCOA Technologies group.  


  • Sell IQVIA eCOA technology and services to internal and external customers, directly and through channels
  • Seek out new clients or engage existing clients and form long term working relationships with key decision makers; identify valuable emerging markets
  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders to drive awareness and understanding of eCOA capabilities across the company
  • Work with the business development and operational teams to prepare specific eCOA product and marketing materials for direct interaction with customers
  • Represent the business externally at customer meetings and key client events, major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions as determined
  • Frequently present web meeting and in-person demonstrations of the IQVIA eCOA platform
  • Forecast future sales, form sales plans and track account activity; exceed expectations

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or a minimum of seven (7) years related experience
  • At least two (2) years of experience selling eCOA and eClinical products and solutions strongly preferred; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Experience in client engagement required including ability to effectively give a technology demo in the context of eCOA; strong interpersonal and communication, and presentation skills required
  • A strong track record of delivering sales at or in excess of goal
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite
