PURPOSE

  • Provide technical leadership in the design, integration, development, maintenance, and support of enterprise IAM solutions & capabilities.
  • Provide delivery leadership on complex projects to meet business requirements for both IQVIA internal employees and external clients, and to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate data assets.  

SCOPE

  • The IAM Software Development Lead will focus on all aspects of IAM solutions spanning  Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Management (Authentication, Authorization, MFA, SSO, etc.), and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • The IQVIA landscape consists of both legacy IAM systems build on .NET & Java-based technologies, with a go-forward strategy that leverages a commercial off the shelf (COTS) and/or SaaS solution(s), including SailPoint IIQ, CyberArk PAS, Radiant Logic VDS, Azure AD, PingFederate, WSO2

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the software development team (onshore, offshore, contractors, partners) , focused on delivering new/extended IAM capabilities to the enterprise. Able to decompose technical solutions in to finite/deliverable elements and facilitate their completion, integration, testing and documentation with the development team. Lead the technical delivery of sophisticated identity management solutions (both COTS and custom-built) that enable IQVIA employees and external client to access systems and data while maintaining the principle of least privilege, using a combination of coding, scripting, integration, and platform customization – including system upgrades, installation, and performance tuning. Deliver in accordance with IQVIA software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, which includes code reviews, and formal validation/testing Author technical documentation, including:  infrastructure topology, system design, workflows, data flows/mapping, unit testing, implementation steps, and user/system support. Collaborate effectively with/between business stakeholders, technical partners, global project teams, and the IAM development staff.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Primary Technical Skills

  • Track record of successful technical software delivery leadership (IAM / InfoSec experience desired)
  • Java development expertise (.NET acceptable) – both desirable
  • LDAP and SQL programming expertise
  • Agile development experience
  • Integration APIs and web services development expertise (RESTful/SOAP)
  • DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery experience
  • Understanding of secure software development practices - AppSec
  • High-level of accountability and ability to execute within agreed-upon timelines
  • Identify & enforce coding patterns and anti-patterns through code reviews
  • Experience in estimating and planning technical work effort

Secondary Technical Skills

  • IAM application development and customization
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization tools and technologies
  • Web application server knowledge like IIS, WebLogic, or Tomcat
  • Scripting/automation experience using PowerShell, VBScript, python, or bash
  • Root cause analysis, technology evaluation and design reviews
  • Understanding of unique delivery needs within regulated environments
  • Experience with common IAM solution(s) (e.g. SailPoint IIQ, CyberArk PAS, Radiant Logic VDS, Azure AD, PingFederate, WSO2)

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s Degree in computer science or related field (preferred)
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 years of hands-on software delivery, design and development experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience implementing and customizing IAM Solutions
  • Security certification such as CISSP, CSSLP is a plus
