Profile
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compensations and Benefits professional to join our team on a one year fixed term contract. The position of Associate Director manages the delivery of compensation/benefits programs for a large region or business to support the Company's compensation philosophy.

 
While the role is varied, the principle accountabilities include -
 
  • Designs and delivers compensation/benefits programs and solutions to support key business initiatives and goals.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources, global compensation/benefits, and line management to develop and implement effective programs to enable managers to more effectively attract, retain, reward and motivate employees.
  • In collaboration with senior management, may design incentive plans to support achievement of financial and strategic goals and promote global consistency in the use of incentive compensation.
  • Ensures that compensation/benefit administration guidelines and practices are established to be externally competitive, consistent with company philosophy and are managed within the organization's financial plan.
  • Ensures the integrity of applicable systems. Develops budget recommendations and forecasts costs for programs.
  • Provides internal consulting support to Human Resources and line management on complex compensation/benefits related issues.


Job Requirements



Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or equivalent experience, and significant experience in the design and delivery of base pay, variable compensation, sales compensation and equity programs. Knowledgeable on legislation impacting pay programs, compensation theories and broad knowledge of practices. Strong analytical and program management skills. Ability to understand business strategy and plans and translate into pro-active compensation processes. Consultative skills, conflict resolution and effective communication, and collaboration skills across organizations.
