We are seeking an enthusiastic AD: Automation Expert within our Business Analytics & Decision Support team within QA!
 
The Automation Expert will enable IQVIA QA to implement leading edge automation techniques to accelerate the repeatable tasks to an extent that we can re-allocate people to more value-add tasks.  You will work with automation experts in other parts of the organization to support the introduction of machine learning techniques, such as the automatic interpretation of multiple text fields in databases to reach decisions, design ways to automate the generation of Dashboards and Reports, meeting multiple needs, internally and externally.  Familiarity with leading edge human data science analysis techniques such as Robotic Process Automation and Blockchain an advantage. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze event triggers and alerts, and determine appropriate follow up
  • Independently develop Automation plans to accelerate report and metric dashboard generation.
  • Integrate data from disparate sources for analysis by our team.
  • Automate the analysis of Process Cycle Efficiency – theory of constraints – and flag where constraints exist.
•         Incorporate NLP into our day-to-day QA analyses for people to more easily interact with the data to glean insights.
•         Display results and insights in intuitive and visually impactful manner

  • Provide consultation to clients on the sharing of data using leading edge, secure, techniques (pull).
  • Participate in function and/or corporate initiatives, special project assignments, and as a client liaison or departmental cross-functional liaison.
  • Automate analysis within standard reports to increase our signal-to-noise ratio and thereby predicting trends that can be rectified before a process goes out of control.
  • Measure and analyze internal processes automatically to allow for continuous improvement, leading to consistent, quantifiable savings in time and labor, without compromising Customer or Regulatory expectations or needs.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor, Master Degree or PhD in Automation, with preference of Industrial Engineering, Business Process Optimization, or Statistics
  • 3-5 years of the relevant industry-experience in QA, or Automation aspects of Quality Management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills
  • Excellent attention and accuracy with details
  • Good working knowledge of Spotfire and Sparta TrackWise or other leading eQMS an advantage
  • A working knowledge of SAS, Python and or R computing packages an advantage
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma an advantage
  • Strong commitment to quality and timelines
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Proficient at solving complex scientific problems and able to articulate complex issues verbally and in visual presentations
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
  • May require occasional travel.
