We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Clinical Planning Analytics Director/Manager's role.  This role will focus on developing methods to quantify project level and portfolio level impacts derived from the next generation of clinical development tactics.  This will require strong data analysis practices and communication skills.  The individual will be part of the team focused on delivering Next Generation of clinical development supported new business awards.
  • Deliver accurate and robust study strategies (including countries, sites and patients) in support of opportunities (including but not limited to Requests for Proposals, awards and re-strategies)
  • Develop, plan and collaborate with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Ensure Quintiles Clinical Planning & Analytics services is providing a competitive edge in winning new business
  • Present and support Clinical Planning & Analytics results at customer bid defense meetings and to internal customers
  • Under supervision, develop future research plans, regional priorities, and capacity plans
  • Maintain regular communication with staff in assigned therapeutic areas on non-project issues such as business strategy, mutual pipelines / planning performance trends across all studies (using performance scorecards) and compliance with contracts
  • Oversee delivery of study strategy (prioritized country / site lists and enrollment rates) to the operational team.
  • Develop process improvement initiatives through working with Quintiles processes to deliver quality and consistency
  • Contribute with management of Business Conflicts of Interest (BCOIs)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and Quintiles project teams to resolve issues and provide recommendations for solutions
  • Help facilitate that all data sources are accurate and up to date
  • Accountable for extracting and managing global country / site / patients performance data from company systems

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in life sciences, Math, Informatics or Public Health with 7 yrs. relevant experience and demonstrable experience in an international role; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • In depth knowledge of the drug development processes across all functional areas
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand, assess, and analyze data from divergent sources to provide an assimilation of data leading to conclusions and recommendations of country ranking / site tiering / patient enrollment forecasts
  • Knowledge and ability to apply GCP / ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Knowledge of clinical research financial parameters and project financial tracking and accounting methods
  • Good leadership skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Computer skills including proficiency in aspects of data analysis and presentation software, Microsoft Word, Excel and databases
  • Good written and verbal communication skills including good command of English
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
