Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the Product team for one or more offerings, or offering components.  This role is accountable for: scoping and documenting new feature as well as maintaining existing features; working with the Engineering team to deliver features; and communicating with internal and external stakeholders about the product and roadmap.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Accountable for definition and design of one or more offerings, or offering components
  • Management of the analysis and/or delivery team 
  • Adhere to product processes that includes product governance gates, quarterly planning, agile product development and the broader SDLC process
  • Build and maintain roadmap 
  • Track and manage commitments and customer expectations
  • Communicate internally and externally with customers
  • Support product architecture discussions and project manage cross-module solutions and other large and/or complex projects
  • Represent technology in discussions with customers, the broader IQVIA organization, and other vendors
  • Support thought leadership, press releases, conference exhibits, and other communication activities
  • As requested by Sales, participate as domain expert in support of business opportunities 
  • As requested, support quality team in preparing and participating in audits
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position does have responsibility for managing people.  

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required; graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience and/or demonstrated competency in a DrugDev environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing the product scoping and development process
  • Knowledge and experience in the Clinical Trial industry is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems
  • Facilitation of collaboration with cross-functional team members
  • Experience directly managing and building a team.
  • Experience building scalable processes 
  • Strong project management skills including managing projects through an SDLC
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage people directly, mentor and build credibility in cross-functional teams 
  • Experience working on building and deploying SaaS solutions
  • Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail
