PURPOSE 
The Assoc IT Projects Director will plan, supervise, and manage several medium to large Enterprise Systems (finance and related systems) Integration projects related to mergers and acquisitions. These projects will be performed in collaboration with project team members and stakeholders. The incumbent is expected to be able to deliver, within the constraints of scope, quality, time and cost, complete IT project solutions utilizing the corporate System Life-Cycle (SLC) processes. Overall project budgetary responsibility will typically be up to $1,000,000. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Risk and issue management, communications and stakeholder management. 
• Responsible for timelines and deliverables that match project objectives.
• Recommend course of action regarding project issues/concerns, implement mitigation plans, then escalate risks and issues to senior IT management as necessary. 
• Work with financial stakeholders to ensure that the project remains within financial and regulatory guidelines. 
• Collaborate with project team to ensure timely delivery and quality of all project deliverables. 
• Develop and exercise scope change control. 
• Comply with IQVIA IT Project Management Methodology (ITPMM). 
• Perform project closeout, including Lessons Learned activity. 
• Support other groups as needed in production of Business Case.

• Provide mentorship, finance subject matter expertise and guidance for Project Managers.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 
• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, PMP certification, and several years’ experience within a regulated industry environment, preferably GxP-related. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Significant experience with SDLC. 
• Significant experience working with Enterprise Systems in the Lead-to-Cash spectrum of functions such as CRM, Resource and Project Management, Pricing, Contract Management, Finance/Accounting.

• Strong knowledge of Finance/Accounting concepts (AR, AP, GL, Treasury, etc.) with a major ERP (SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle preferred).

• Prior experience with M&A integration projects.


MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
• Candidate should have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of project management experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff.
