Associate Director, Product Management (MDM)

As a part of our rapid growth in the industry, we are expanding our product management team to lead the planning, definition, and launch of our Information Management solutions.  Our offering is a cloud based Information Delivery Platform that delivers Data-as-a-Service, Integration-as-a-Service, and Master Data Management (MDM) as-a-Service to our clients.  The role will be the champion both internally and externally for the vision, plan, launch and evangelism of MDM effort for the company.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the definition and execution of product vision and roadmap for Master Data Management (including Customer, Product and Patient MDM)
  • Develop clear and compelling Market Requirements (MRDs) for new initiatives and existing product enhancements, including business justification, revenue potential, and operational impact
  • Collaborate with the product development team on specifications, design and acceptance testing.
  • Managing all releases from start to finish in an agile environment
  • Collaborate with delivery teams and collect feedback and deliver product improvements
  • Understand client delivery methodology and develop product configuration templates for consumption by delivery teams to enable smooth and rapid client deployments
  • Ensure all required system and user documentation is created accurately for internal and external use
  • Be the voice-of-the-customer – integrate feedback into the product plan and life-cycle

Cross-functional Team Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Units  to understand market requirements and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in engineering, development and services to conceptualize, document, build, and evangelize new capabilities
  • Effectively communicate with customers, sales, marketing, development, and senior management as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Provide input on training, marketing material, and product roll out

Required Experience

  • 5-10 years’ experience with proven results launching and managing Master Data Management or Information Management solutions
    • Proven track record demonstrating ability to design complex system solutions from business requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Product or project management experience with models like PMI, Agile, and Pragmatic Marketing
  • Experience in SaaS, Cloud Services, or related fields.
  • Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience, especially in MDM

Education Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or a related business degree.
