Role Summary:

IQVIA Technologies develops and markets enterprise software applications for the Life Sciences industry, including Customer engagement (CRM, Multi-channel Marketing), Data Management, Content Management and Compliance solutions.  We have built a shared-service Machine Learning platform called “Ada” that delivers intelligent services to these applications via APIs. Ada’s intelligent services use machine learning, natural language processing and deep learning techniques as appropriate, and rely on a big data layer.

The Ada team is looking for its AIML product manager (associate director level).

The Ada AIML Product manager is a key role in the Ada team, responsible for the successful deployment of Ada intelligent services into the consuming applications and leading the cross-functional team that is responsible for delivering it. He/she participates in setting the strategy, roadmap, and owns the feature definition for Ada's intelligent services. He/she also interfaces with the customers during the implementation phases of Ada intelligent services to ensure customer success and satisfaction.

At the tactical level, the AIML product manager drives operational excellence by providing cross-functional leadership between the Machine Learning, engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Lead requirements, discovery and design sessions, working with business and technology stakeholders
  • Identify, document, communicate, and review requirements and acceptance criteria with ML team members
  • Collaborate with the Machine Learning leads on sprints and work plan deliverables
  • Interface and build collaborative relationships with the other functional teams, internal and external partners
  • Interface and build collaborative relationships with customers during pilot and implementation phases
  • Ensure high quality delivery of requested enhancements identified by the stakeholders and Ada team
  • Work with internal project team members and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of each intelligent service and effective onboarding of consuming products


  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate cross-functional project team collaboration
  • Sharp analytical skills to translate business requirements into clear stories for ML engineers, developers and testers to work from – attention to details is critical
  • Good understanding of statistical, Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods, focused on their applicability to business problems
  • Effective interpersonal communication (written and oral)
  • Strong organizational skills (including project management)
  • Ability to navigate within a fast-paced dynamic environment with limited supervision
  • Ability to work in sizable, multi-disciplined, multinational teams in a matrix-type organization

Experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Science or Computer Software-related domain
  • 3+ years in software product management, preferably in Life Sciences software or comparable role
  • 3+ years’ experience with SaaS, cloud-based enterprise software – containerized deployments a plus
  • Experience/expertise in Machine Learning or NLP a plus
  • Background in Life Science’s CRM, MCM, commercial or marketing operations a plus
