Responsibilities

  • Identify, advise, and compile winning proposal strategies. Determine key selling messages in cooperation with subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Ensure strategy and budget align with sponsor needs and internal win strategy.
  • Act as a focal point for the collection of information from various sources; gather information, confirm data and customize content.
  • Work with cross-functional teams through the development and delivery of high-quality proposal deliverables within prescribed timelines.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven leadership skills in a matrixed environment; proven ability to effectively influence, relative to contribution to client deliverables.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the proposal development process, contract deliverables, budgeting and the overall business organization and functional areas, and commercial strategy.
  • Knowledge of the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry; understanding of study design, project management, and operational requirements for successful study implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills, oral and written communications, attention to detail, prioritization and time management proficiencies.
  • Ability to advise on strategy and generate solutions for specific opportunities based on client RFP, feedback, and team input.
  • Proficiency in all MS-Office applications especially Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in CRO/Pharmaceutical, working on Clinical Operations/ Strategic/ Business Development, including experience in proposal development.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or other scientific disciplines
  • Experience with local/ regional Academic/ Hospital organizations, with an understanding of Investigator Initiated Trials (IIT).
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills and strong commercial acumen, with demonstrated global and cultural awareness.
