The Technology Solutions division of IQVIA develops, markets, and implements healthcare-focused enterprise software applications to help life sciences customers drive their business from molecule to market.


Role

The team is responsible for developing a product which is a component of our Multi-Channel Marketing solution.  Our product is currently being used by clients many clients.  The position is responsible for capturing and documenting business and functional requirements related to advancing our product and acting as a liaison between the technical resources and the business stakeholders.  This position also focuses on our internal processes related to the software development lifecycle and workload management.  You will be tasked with taking the requirements from the Product Management Team and turn them into epics, stories and technical specifications for the Technical Lead to generate the appropriate solution designs.  The designs are then used for the offshore development team to construct the features for the next product release.              


Specifically, you will:

  • Generate business and functional level documentation for all product features and enhancements.  Advise on existing features and appropriate technical use of product to business stakeholders.  Contribute to product technical design and planning sessions. 
  • Liaise between enhancement requester and product architects to establish requirements, define technical solution, and provide time and cost estimates. 
  • Support management of product road map, release schedule. 
  • Compile and document release notes for new versions of product. 
  • Maintain internal software development life cycle process documentation. 
  • Ensure documented development agile processes are adhered to and appropriate level of detail is maintained in stories and tasks. 
  • Liaise between bug reporter and product architects to define bug, solution/fix, and provide time estimate.  
  • Explain business requirements to the technical team and also explain very technical information to the business team, in a relatable way.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of outside sales, agency, or related experience
  • Program management skills
  • Agile methodology
  • User Interface with web applications experience is a plus
  • Working with pharmaceutical data, specifically from a sales and marketing aspect
  • SQL server experience is a plus, or at least the understanding of relational databases
