Lead Data Migration Developer

Timely and Quality Delivery of Assignments
1. Work closely with the local / global PM to co-manage the overall program and/or multiple projects
2. Ensure all project deliverables are delivered as per the project schedule and of customer acceptable quality
3. Ensure that all Project Work streams have WBS in place and is being kept current
4. Appreciate inter-track dependencies and ensure adequate communication and support to across tracks
5. Maintain healthy relationship with the global Foresight team and client
6. Devise and manage new ideas to optimize and expedite a given tasks/process

Acquire and Demonstrate Advance level skills for Project Management 
1. Ensure that the work-stream plans and activities are aligned with the master plan
2. Understand the business reason for the project delivery milestones and work towards those by socializing the same across team members
3. Ensure the units in the plan are well defined, measurable and understood by the team
4. Proactively identify and manage risks, escalate as needed
5. Gain adequate functional understanding of the tracks in order to ensure that all deliverables are adhering to the quality benchmarks.
6. Be accountable for the overall quality of the Project Deliverables

Mentor and Coach team members 
1. Be the go to person for people across tracks and projects to address Data Migration related queries
2. Ensure that the career of direct reports are aligned with Organizational Objectives
3. Have regular one-on-one sessions to be aware of their concerns and address them
4. Keep the Management Team abreast of any concerns or/and appreciations
5. Inculcate CSV & GDP skills in team members
6. Propagate Foresight core values
7. Develop second level leaders – identify the names and create a time bound plan for the to reach Lead levels
8. Conduct Data Migration and Technical Trainings

Drive and Participate in Corporate level Initiatives
1. Contribute to Data Migration practice/QAP by owning initiatives
2. Assist in staffing of data migration team members by appreciating the needs of projects across the company
3. Participate in hiring
4. Contribute to training curriculum/plan
5. Assist in scoping and estimation of new assignments
6. Contribute and review RFP responses

Create and Standardize Reusable Methodologies, Knowledge Base and Deliverables 
1. Standardize project plans, Data Migration Processes
2. Standardize metrics and reporting mechanisms
3. Contribute with the above to QAP and Data Migration Knowledge forums
4. Encourage team members to build/standardize reusable artefacts, components
5. Create a method of checks and balances to ensure that there is a consistency in deliverables with adequate quality

Adhere to the SLAs defined for the clients
1. Ensure resolution/completion of tickets/deliverables on time. The On time delivery aspect includes :
    a. Tickets should be delivered on or before the SLA-permitted date
    b. Timely communication to stakeholders for closing dependencies
    c. Time to resolve/close should also reduce along with the experience
    d. Timely communication to clients
2. Ensure that all tickets/deliverables are comprehensively closed with customer satisfaction. This includes :
    a. Clear understanding of the request and minimize assumptions
    b. Thorough unit testing
    c.  Limited managerial intervention
3. Confirm ticket scope of work, deliverables, owners, milestones, and assumptions with PM and customer to remove any ambiguities
4. Ensure “best in class” servicing to be able to quickly troubleshoot or consult over tickets and deliverables

Adhere to Managed Services processes
1. Ensure adherence to defined MS practices. This includes:
    a. Following MS data entry ticketing standards religiously
    b. Approach to provisioned escalation path only
    c. Ensure communication channels are followed in a timely manner
    d. Ensure Follow-ups are periodically carried out to avoid bottlenecks
2. Establish a sense of ownership and urgency towards assigned tickets/deliverables:
    a. Utilize defined process to maintain timely information flow and status
    b. Display ownership and urgency towards SLA adherence and process adherence
3. Ensure process documentation (scripts, reports, formats) are followed religiously at all times

Enhance Troubleshooting expertise
1. Develop the ability to quickly identify root cause of issues
2. Develop the ability to resolve all issues with minimum or no expert intervention
3. Develop the ability to classify tickets based on type of request

Build reusable knowledge assets for repeatability 
1. Reuse MS Methodologies, create/provide inputs to Knowledge Base and standardize deliverables                                                       
2. This should be leveraged through process artefacts and applications

SME support
1. Provide expert support to team for issues
2. Guide team to build knowledge repositories and solution library
3. Encourage team to conduct proper analysis (homework) before reaching out for SME support
4. Guide team to work with third party vendors (Oracle) for resolving service requests
