ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for Business Systems Analyst to be part of the Resource and Project Management team within Enterprise Systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that thrives in a fast moving environment, with a passion for solving business problems within the current technology framework (predominately SFDC). The position will act as the liaison between the business users and the development and QA teams. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Acting as a liaison between Enterprise Systems and our business-focused teams, partner Partners with business leaders and other IT teams on options to solve business process gaps including business requirements, solution options and approach, using both business and technical expertise.
• Develop and execute plans for testing and training of the new system our FinancialForce PSA installation and our customizations to it.
• Maintain system and methodology documentation based on interviews, diagrams, surveys and workflow analysis, and provide end-user training as needed.
• Partners with support team members to effectively deliver product changes and the transition of post go live support activities; provides escalated support assistance as required
• Collaborate with other Technical team members to come up with solutions that meet or exceed business objectives
• Works with offshore partners to deliver solutions that better enable the overall value chain
• Focus on the people, processes and technology when working on solutions to solve business challenges. Work with leaders from all business areas about common pain points, hindrances and other issues that cause interruption or require manual work arounds.
• Helps define solutions that enable future capabilities and leverage data and analytics as core competencies
• Be a champion for change and leader to in building a new collaborative business-focused IT organization
• Be a flexible teammate operating on a small team within a large organization who is able to wear many hats as needed to deliver effective solutions

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor of Science, preferred in Engineering, IT or some business-related relevant field
• 2-4 years working as a business analyst / implementation consultant with Salesforce CRM or other application(s) on the Force.com platform.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. Experience of working with a development team a plus
• Experience working with Financialforce PSA a definite plus
• Demonstrated proficiency Experience integrating CRM software with third party applications a plus.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of process improvement or related experience with successful track record of accomplishments
• Demonstrated experience to collect, document and progressively elaborate requirements using use-cases ; to develop general user requirements in the form of user stories, detailed functional requirements and system specifications.
• Proven ability to champion efforts in a cross-functional organization and solve problems
• Ability to communicate verbally and especially in writing at a professional level and to distill technical data to a layperson's understanding with conciseness, clarity, and accuracy. Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with colleagues for whom English is not their native language.
• Strong relationship-building skills and strong skills in coordination, project management, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to see forward trends in technology and to be open to new solutions available in marketplace
• Experience working in Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
• Experience working with modern Business Intelligence platforms a plus
• Experience in working with JIRA and/or Confluence a plus
• Mentorship abilities and strong desire to help others grow
• Highly motivated, self-confident, entrepreneurial mindset that fosters participation and contribution by others
• Proven ability to work understand a business work collaboratively with a team to deeply understand their business and the metrics that drive the success of that organization
• Highly organized but willing to adjust direction when necessary
• Able to manage multiple issues and priorities in a fast paced environment where deadlines are often tight
• Creative problem-solver who works well both independently and as part of a virtual team
• Proficient in running and facilitating meetings especially virtual meetings
• Oversee the life cycle of changes to business systems and prepare detailed reports for executive management
