KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

PURPOSE

We are looking for a high-performing Key Account Manager, to report directly into the Sales Manager Hospital. You will be responsible for the sales performance of the hospital product portfolio and the implementation of the sales & marketing plan in your region. We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with strong networking and stakeholder management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  •     Collaborate intensively with the Sales Manager and marketing department to add value to the strategic sales & marketing plan for the hospital business by providing input
  •     Drive performance in hospitals in your region to reach planned targets
  •     Implement the sales & marketing plan in your region
  •     Reach and exceed the goals for the entire hospital product portfolio
  •     With an analytical approach you monitor your own performance and the market situation in your region to detect opportunities for growth. You develop a Sales Action plan for your region
  •     Collaborate closely with the Tender Coordinator to win tenders, with the Product Manager Hospital for pre-marketing research and with the Retail Team to optimize business growth.
  •     Responsible for DMU management: define new stakeholders and build relationships
  •     Create input for national plans with head sales, marketing and medical department
  •     Build and constantly develop knowledge and expertise in key therapeutic areas
  •     Share experience with other KAM’s, regions and management team
  •     Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

  •     At least 5 years of experience in the hospital business and knowledge of the hospitals in Belgium and Luxembourg
  •     Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
  •     Proven track record as Key Account Manager / Hospital Representative in the pharmaceutical/med tech industry in BeLux
  •     Perfectly trilingual (Dutch, French English)
  •     Result oriented with a strategic focus on sales
  •     Demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges
  •     A self-starting, self-managing independent work style
  •     Entrepreneurial spirit, open for opportunities and strong drive to grow the company
