Principle Accountabilities: 

  • Provides leadership in delivering high quality client engagements, ensuring clients obtain maximum value from IQVIA products and services
  • Provides analytic direction to a team responsible for the analysis and resolution of complex client questions and business issues
  • Collaborates with internal teams to collect required information and consolidates into appropriate answers to highly complex client questions and business issues
  • Escalates significant client issues including recommendations and next steps; manages through resolution 
  • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences
  • Constructs customized recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on subject matter expertise, business data and market knowledge
  • May lead projects between business and client teams; develop translatable client action plans with internal teams (i.e. responsibilities, timeframes, and resources)
  • Coordinates and manages online meetings and discussions (both internally & externally) related to project work/data analytics  
  • Collaborates with Sales/Service teams to identify proactive analytics leads, creates pricing and pitch material, may present opportunities to clients
  • Provides written communications and formal presentations both internally and externally regarding analytics results, issue status and resolution 
  • Performs audits of own work or that of others to ensure accuracy, completeness and conformance with established procedures
  • Identifies ways to improve and streamline business operations, driving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes 
  • Performs periodic root cause analyses and client landscape assessments; makes data processing, statistical methodology and/or product offering recommendations based on findings

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field(s) 
  • Proficient using Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) 
  • Knowledge of the industry and an understanding of the marketplace, specifically the pharmaceutical supply chain, demand model and inventory analyses, forecasting and incentive compensation models
  • Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of the business 
  • Minimum 7-10 years experience with data analysis

  • Ability to clearly summarize complex data analysis & present results to clients (Director level &
  • above); adept at managing analytical challenges in a transparent and confident manner
  • Strong client handling and acumen skills
  • Works effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals   
  • Demonstratable leadership and influencing skills of peers, business partners, and clients
  • Attention to detail with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously 
  • Ability to work creatively in a fast paced and multi-faceted environment, maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meet demanding timelines
