About the role  

As HR Associate Director, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment between HR agenda and company strategy in the assigned country (Hungary) while closely partnering with Global/Regional Business Units and Country leaders.

You will be driving HR projects, programs and policies to support country strategy.

You will be providing subject matter expertise and comprehensive support on human resources topics to management and employees in the assigned country.

Responsibilities

  • Build effective business relationships with internal stakeholders both at local, regional and global level to proactively support their needs.

  • Take ownership of all human resources matters such as performance management processes, salary review, benefits, leadership development, talent review, succession planning, headcount budget, employee relations, implementation of organizational changes

  • Act as a Change Agent within the organization to support change management efforts involving organizational redesign, mergers/acquisitions and transfers to ensure compliance to local legislation

  • Sponsor and lead the implementation of local and global projects/initiatives within HR and across the business

  • Provide HR Partnering, management, coaching and counselling to business leaders and managers to effectively meet business goals

  • Liaise with Talent Acquisition CoE to ensure successful fulfillment of country’s hiring plans

  • Provide guidance and daily support to management to resolve HR-related issues

  • Respond to management and employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs

  • Work on the organization's values, culture, and philosophy

Required Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree

  • 10+ years of relevant and rounded Human Resources experience in multinational complex organizations

  • Proficiency in English

Additional Requirements

  • Strong business and commercial understanding of organizational dynamics

  • Ability to work collaboratively across complex networks and create stakeholder engagement with internal clients at local, regional and global levels

  • Proven experience of driving change management initiatives

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence the organization

  • Strong knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize and manage projects

  • Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills

  • Can-do attitude
