Application Support Engineer (.NET)

Real-World Solutions (RWS) Technology Platforms

Play an essential role in the maintenance of application, troubleshooting and issue escalations. You will work with the Architect, Project Manager, Development & Operations teams to define requirements, deliverables, and provide the necessary engineering expertise and support to ensure delivery.

A typical day might include:

  • Monitoring applications deployed on client sites
  • Investigating, identifying and resolving user and application issues
  • Testing new features and releases of the software
  • Helping business stakeholders during client engagements with software implementation / installations, configuration and setup
  • Testing and supporting data integration of new releases of production software
  • Participating in systems development and maintenance
  • Focusing on system analysis and troubleshooting
  • Working under minimal supervision and be able to self-manage work load and ensure delivery of solutions.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related field
  • Fluent in Swedish and English language
  • Strong technical experience on Microsoft .NET, SQL Server and JavaScript framework and libraries
  • Proficient with MVC, Asp.Net, JQuery
  • Must have hands-on experience with Visual Studio
  • Experience with implementing Agile Practices (ideally SCRUM)
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development, CI, and design patterns
  • Experience with development of CI/DevOps processes.

Bonus points for:

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Experience with Web API, Entity Framework
  • Good knowledge of Html 5, TypeScript, AngularJS, Gulp/Grunt, EcmaScript 6.
