Position Purpose

We are looking for a Consultant to strengthen the IQVIA Healthcare team. You will provide support to our hospital customers with solutions in multiple BI technologies with a focus on data science.

Principle Accountabilities:

As part of the support & deployment team, your main focus in this role will be threefold:

  • You’ll take part in delivering a high level of 1st line support to our existing customers (mostly hospitals), in the daily working of their datawarehouse solution, and in the execution of planned upgrades.
  • Installation of our datawarehouse solution for new customers, and deployments of extra modules for existing clients, will also be planned for your execution.
  • Short consultancy missions and provide technology trainings, both internal and external.

The support & deployment team works in close collaboration with both the development & the project management team. Depending on your background and/or interests you will also contribute to internal projects & initiatives (e.g. to further maximize automation, scripting assignments, build on insights regarding performance, reporting…)

Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in IT or computer sciences, or equivalent based on prior work experience(s), with minimal 5 years of work experience;
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing
  • Knowledge of Cognos, Qlik tools and other BI/DWH tools is a plus;
  • Languages: English, Dutch and/or French; Bilangual dutch/french is a plus
  • Good at communication and planning
  • High interest in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation;
  • Strong affinity for healthcare industry is an advantage;
  • A customer-oriented personality with positive drive and a pragmatic, innovative approach;
