Project Manager

Provide oversight and orchestration of resourcing, budget, scope, timelines and performance for large and complex IQVIA enterprise-wide programs led/driven by Commercial Services. This role will work closely with the business team, to understand and represent client’s perspective and drive the project in a way that is most beneficial for the business needs.

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing and detail-oriented Program Manager with a passion for improving client experience while maintaining project management processes and communication with cross functional teams that may include IQVIA data partners.

Role & Responsibility:

  • Build and oversee client relationships, ensuring quality control throughout a project's lifecycle
  • Comply with Commercial Services project and program management standards and procedures
  • Responsible for managing the Budget, Scope, Timelines and client satisfaction of complex enterprise programs.
  • Initiate and coordinate new program Kick-off schedule and handoff of production-ready programs to Ongoing Support Programs
  • Work to understand and evaluate client needs and manage a comprehensive list of client requirements and project plans
  • Consult with clients and internal project teams on best practices for use and configuration of the data solutions
  • Review client networks and support processes in comparison to contracted scope of work (ongoing) and manage potential changes with the account management teams.
  • Plan and set integrated program goals and milestones
  • Oversee the project work streams and managing conflicts across work streams
  • Chair Program Status Meetings and Updates
  • Participate in onsite client meetings (workshops, workstream meetings, KO meetings, JOC, Operational meetings, etc.)
  • Create and review the project level documentation (project plans, Risk and Action logs, communication plan, QC plan, release plan, change management, etc.)
  • Support the BD team, as needed, with client-specific presentations and contracting / scope questions
  • Develop professional, productive relationships with peers and subordinates that allows for the development of synergy, transparency and partnership within and between all departments delivering service to your client(s)
  • Collaborate with various Technology, Analytics and Subject Matter Expertise teams across IQIVA to understand the scenarios and assess impact on project
  • Conduct internal and external Steering Committee with key IQVIA and client stakeholders
  • Pro-actively anticipate and solve project and program issues effectively
  • Oversee account finance process for revenue recognition and invoicing/billing activities

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience managing enterprise data, business applications, dashboards or similar projects in the life science or healthcare industries
  • Demonstrated ability to set and achieve stretch goals quickly, while possessing strong people skills
  • 4-year undergraduate or more advanced degree
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of IQVIA data assets would be a plus
  • Familiarity with technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, MicroStrategy, QlikView, Tableau. etc.
  • Good organization, presentation, and customer service skills
