The Opportunity

IQVIA is currently recruiting for a Healthcare Data Analyst in Malaysia. Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will take ownership of IQVIA Data Assets and processes. He/She will update and analyse data/databases to ensure that data is correctly managed, working in collaboration with the Data Processing Hub to produce Healthcare Benchmark Reports.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review data to ensure that trends are accurate for a particular product, outlet, and manufacturer.
  • Monitor trends in supplier’s data submission and investigate any apparent anomalies
  • Update / maintain universe and sample files and transaction database as needed. 
  • Research suspected problems and propose required changes to the data if necessary.
  • Ensure timely dataset updates and deliver reports within the timeline given.
  • Quality Check on the historical file, applying corrections to historical data as necessary.
  • Implements procedures and processes to ensure high quality, accurate and timely deliverables which meet requirements. 
  • Performs ongoing analysis and evaluation of existing processes with the objective of providing continuous improvements.
  • Performs the production support function in cases where workload or staffing requires.


  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in any discipline.  Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong PC literacy skills including Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical / healthcare industry would be an advantage
  • Strong command of English
