Our Surgical Technologist - Clinical Educators experience a unique opportunity to employ their clinical expertise to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. In this role, you will be responsible for providing consultation and education to healthcare professionals through case coverage for a vascular occlusion device.

The medical device being represented and educated on is typically used in Interventional Radiology and operating room settings. The role is responsible for end-user education only, there are no sales responsibilities, and it does not involve providing patient care. This opportunity is great way to make an impact through healthcare professional education to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and professional expertise to RN, Physician, and other healthcare staff in support of end-user education needs in the healthcare setting during procedures.
  • Provide case coverage consulting OR staff on the clinical application of the device.
  • Assess customer needs and assist with resolving issues stemming from lack of medical device knowledge or understanding of the vascular occlusion device.
  • Maintain communication with healthcare facilities for potential upcoming case coverage and client sales representatives or supporting team members for updates.
  • Provide customer feedback to corporate teams to improve new and existing medical devices.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist required.
  • Interventional Radiology related surgical tech experience is preferred.
  • Active Surgical Technologist certification required.
  • General understanding of procedural and case expectations required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required.
  • Must be comfortable with basic software programs.
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed to cover cases required.
  • An active driver’s license and a personal vehicle for commuting to assignments within three hours of home are required.
  • Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.

The potential base pay range for this role is $28.00-$34.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
