This position is a leadership role within an established yet rapidly growing multichannel analytics center of excellence across all customer types including HCP, Consumer, and Payer.
Responsibilities include:
Primary owner of analytical engagements with ultimate responsibility for deliverable quality, client satisfaction, and providing ongoing thought leadership to clients
Provide subject matter expertise with respect to analytics methodology and approach in working with client stakeholders
Manage project scope, revenue, and profitability across accounts and engagements
Mentor, coach, hire, and develop talent at all levels as well as develop leaders within the team to assist in managing client engagements and the continuous development of team talent
Establish a culture of curiosity, continuous optimization, and innovation to ensure ongoing insight generation as well as value creation for clients
Manage resource allocation for client engagements as well as forecast ongoing demand to ensure efficient and effective project delivery across onshore and offshore teams
Provide input and partner with IQVIA leadership team in the definition and ownership of an analytics innovation agenda leveraging existing and new IQVIA data and capabilities
Support business development activities including working with go to market teams to engage with customers in pre-sale process, understand client needs, define project scope, assist in authoring proposals, and representing proposal and project with customers
Help establish new processes, frameworks, methodologies, benchmarks and cultivate new data sources and analytical techniques
Manage continuous improvement initiatives including but not limited to the leveraging of available and new technologies that bring efficiency to the analytic process and enable speed to insight for clients
Contributes to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA in the market place, e.g. through speaking engagements, thought leadership articles, publications
Remains current on new analytics approaches, technologies as well as industry, cross-industry, client, and competitive trends to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues at assigned clients while also enabling the development of commercial offerings.
Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing, and strong collaboration with IQVIA advanced analytics colleagues
Manage delivery teams across multiple office locations with some travel expected
Experience
Master’s degree in statistics, math, economics or other quantitative fields
10-12+ years of experience in executing or leading multichannel analytic assignments, including experience within the life science vertical
6-8+ years developing, building, and managing analytics delivery teams across onshore and offshore
4+ years’ experience in selling analytics projects to clients
Hands on experience in delivering MCM Analytics for HCP and/or Consumer initiatives with experience in traditional approaches such as marketing mix modeling as well as new approaches such as machine learning
Demonstrated experience and success in leading cross functional teams and projects of significant size and scope.
Skill Requirements
Strong knowledge of online and offline media as well as traditional and emerging channels
Strong knowledge of web analytics and hands on experience with various tools and data required
Solid understanding of life science industry data, including IQVIA data assets
Demonstrated experience in leveraging new technologies and approaches to generate customer insights while enabling analytic efficiency
Expert user of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal and team management skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Self-directed and self-managed with a strong sense of diplomacy and client service focus
In depth and long standing relationships with client companies, especially at a senior level.
