We expect:

- minimum 2 year experience with large volume (1TB+) data warehouse solutions (BigData or other)

- experience with massively-parallel processing platforms (Hive, hBase, Impala, Netezza, Teradata & similar)

- good knowledge of SQL & relational database concepts OR experience with scala/spark ETL code development (Git / Jenkins / Nexus) à one of them should be extensive knowledge

- understanding agile project management techniques

- advanced english skills, written and spoken

- experience with unstructured data processing is an advantage

- international work experience is an advantage

- pharmaceutical/medical market knowledge is an advantage

Job responsibilities:

- Take leading part in system development, translating technical design into low level code (implementation of complex programs), following market standard and growing own development patterns

- Along with a local architect - lead or be part of an international group of developers (scrum team)

- Work closely with various internal teams (data analysts / data integrity / data architecture / technical leads / project managers / developers / operations) to provide consistent implementation

- Work under minimal supervision and be able to self-manage work load and ensure delivery of solutions

- Participate in development and deployment

- Provide 3rd line support for developed solutions and contribute to best practice documentation

- Document implementation details

- Share knowledge across entire Data Warehouse team providing presentations
