Job Summary

The Sales Operations Associate is responsible for completing, optimising, and maintaining the proposal and pricing process for sales opportunities received by DrugDev, and for producing metrics reports.  This includes completing the end-to-end process for pricing requests, preparing customised proposal text and managing and tracking RFI and RFPs received, as well as assisting in the creation and finalisation of sales contracts. The role will communicate with DrugDev business leaders, Sales representatives and CRO proposal developers to ensure proposal questions are resolved in a timely manner.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

The Sales Operations Associate will be responsible for:

  • Prioritisation, completion and review of pricing requests to meet agreed timelines, gathering any additional required information, and managing scope changes and pricing versions
  • Obtain and track all appropriate and required internal reviews and approvals for pricing and discounts, including liaising with DrugDev Business Leads
  • Ensure accuracy of pricing and terms within appropriate documents and their timely submission
  • Maintain tracking of all submitted items in terms of services, final prices, agreed discounts, dates and outcomes
  • Draft customised information for customer proposals, including newly created or newly packaged solutions
  • Assist in the creation, drafting, and review of sales contracts from start to finish
  • Contribute to process improvement, such as Contract management and CRM reporting
  • Assist in the production of executive reporting on operational metrics
  • Respond to various stakeholder questions about DrugDev products, pricing and proposals
  • Additional duties as requested by management

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

Bachelor's Degree in business or life sciences or equivalent experience

Skill Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and manipulate data sets
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills – especially Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong Written and Verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complicated information in a concise fashion
  • Adaptable with the ability to change focus and take on new tasks as priorities evolve
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and departmental teams, and comfortable communicating with senior colleagues at director level and above.
  • Experience of working with Customer Relationship Management tools is desirable
  • Experience with legal contracts preferable, especially in a clinical research environment
  • Understanding of Clinical Research methodology, timelines and processes is preferable
