Mandatory Skills:
● Minimum of 5 years of management/ leadership experience in a software development organization
● Must have at least 7 years experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering software products to market using Java, .Net or any other technologies
● A record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader and/or development manager
● Strong understanding of the software development cycle
● Must be able to drive the team to achieve Delivery excellence by following the best practices and putting stringent reviews and checks in place
● Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills
● Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues
● Understanding of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL)
● Relevant experience with web services and REST
● Experience in Scrum methodology and Agile practices
● High command of verbal and written English
● Good analytical and problem solving skills
Nice-to-have Skills:
● Experience in managing development of SaaS and cloud based applications
● Experience in managing projects that involve Application Integrations
● Experience in Amazon Web Services
● Experience in managing projects in Salesforce (or any CRM) or iOS (or any mobile platform) platforms
Interpersonal Skills:
● Self motivated, team player, action-and-results oriented
● Well organized, good communication and reporting skills
● Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines
● Ensure that teams have appropriate functional and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively 
● Establish realistic estimates and ensure deadlines are met
● Demonstrate leadership abilities with the deployment of software upgrades, enhancements and fixes that are coordinated based on release schedules
● Release and sprint planning
● Conduct daily scrum meetings
● Help developers resolve both technical problems as well as human resources issues
● Set right goals and monitor individual employees’ performance and provide effective feedback by having monthly 1:1s
● Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development
● Ensure that the team adheres to Product processes
● Highlight Risks on-time to manager
● Escalate Issues on-time
