Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Work with customers and project management teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Build and document new, and maintain existing customer-centric business critical solutions
  • Train customers on the implemented solutions
  • Create custom solution validation plans
  • Contribute towards building implementation and integrations best practices and the knowledge base
  • Collaborate with the DrugDev product development team to help improve and expand core platform functionality
  • Participate in QA, UAT & production support related to various customer engagements
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for custom solutions
  • Support with managing internal systems

Competencies

  • Powerful work ethic with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Solid understanding of at least one JavaScript Framework (Angular, React, Knockout, Node, etc)
  • Experience working with MySQL, AWS, Linux, GIT, JSON and REST
  • Experience working with Ansible or Chef
  • Knowledge of the clinical trial / pharmaceutical domain

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position may have responsibility for managing people.

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with external customers to gather technical requirements
  • 2+ years of Ruby on Rails and Javascript development experience

Skill Requirements

  • Strong customer facing and presentation skills
  • Technical troubleshooting and documentation skills
