Position Description:Qualified Field Service Technicians will be tasked with repairing and maintaining water filtration systems and dialysis equipment as a part of a product trial. Prior experience as a Biomedical Technician within a medical environment is strongly preferred, but candidates with strong technical and networking experience will be considered. Experience with dialysis equipment, including both repairs and preventative maintenance is preferred. This role will primarily include regional travel to support a recurring preventive maintenance schedule as well as ad hoc service calls. There is also a potential need to complete administrative tasks from home. Any work that is completed must also be appropriately documented and reported against. Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on a new in home water filtration system used to support in home dialysis care. Cover service calls within medical facilities and patient homes to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Troubleshoot common technical problems related water filtration systems. Troubleshoot common technical problems related to software malfunctions. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues. Resolve functional issues with the device after any updates are applied to the system. Interact with medical staff and patients in order to schedule service visits. Communication to internal and external partners around support needs and progressProvide detailed reporting on daily and weekly progress Preferred Job Requirements:Biomedical Technician experience is strongly required. Experience in medical settings and patient homes with medical devices preferredExperience with water filtration systems typically used with Dialysis therapies. Intermediate computer skills required: proficient in email, word processing, spreadsheets, basic software, and time and expense systemsNetworking experienceAbility to travel up to 50%Able to work 40 hours per weekExcellent communications skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneeling and some lifting of equipment may be required of up to 50 pounds FT1
