IQVIA’s Managed Market Analytics Solutions group is looking for an Data Analytics Analyst or Lead to perform development and periodic delivery objectives using healthcare data analytics. This is a mid-level position with growth opportunities that include spearheading product and methodology development initiatives.

Responsibilities

Product Development and Delivery

  • Initial development of data products and services derived from the IQVIA proprietary data assets via SQL Server and MS Excel
  • Routinized production and delivery of periodic deliverables
  • Secondary market research and quality assurance to improve the quality and accuracy of these deliverables
  • Maintaining regular communications with clients as part of maintaining both the product and the ongoing client relationship

Support Roles

  • Support related sales and internal development efforts as subject matter expert
  • Support other Managed Markets Analytics Solutions visual solution platform implementation as technical expert in design and analytics

Growth Opportunities

  • Develop, Maintain, and Manage Methodology
    • Update and test standard methodology code to be used within production processes
    • Define standard operating procedures for new procedures and deliverables
  • Develop, Maintain, and Manage Best Practices
    • Dataset and procedure documentation (procurement forms, processing methodology, capture, etc.)
    • Understanding of fact and dimension table relationships (which table, when?)
  • In addition to Tracking, Support Data Investigations Analytically
    • Look into suspicious data patterns
    • Leverage knowledge of data processing methodology and sources to find issues or explain phenomena
  • Support Business Development Requests
    • Run basic queries for quick, time sensitive data pulls
    • Leverage standard methods to conduct analyses
    • Support Sales efforts as subject matter expert

Qualifications

  • Experience with MS Office suite required
  • Proficiency and familiarity with MS SQL Server or other database language highly preferred
  • Knowledge of the general landscape of managed care health organization and US healthcare system also highly valued
  • Good communication skills and to be able to interpret and address client needs
  • 0 – 2 years of related work experience
  • Organized and efficient
  • Energetic and excited for challenges (growth-minded)
  • Able to comprehend managed markets basics and apply to data context
