Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work within a product centric environment
  • Excellent understanding of the SDLC and software development process
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Elicitation and gathering of requirements with an eye to prioritizing the gems for commercialization
  • Leads requirements gathering sessions with creative elicitation techniques to proactively draw out requirements from stakeholders
  • Analyze demand impact for future feature set and apply your understanding of the vision of the product
  • Provide requirements to engineering teams and identify potential areas to improve customer experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working within cross-functional teams
  • Fantastic presentation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and respond rapidly in a fast-changing business environment
  • Work with a Product Manager to
  • Meet with clients and develop business requirements
  • Manage relationship with external vendors (developers, infrastructure, etc.)
  • Manage and take accountability for sections of projects
  • Assist as a technical resource in traditional consulting projects and sales efforts
  • Assist with internal IT strategy and implementation
  • Assist with identifying and developing new technology offerings
  • Develop relationships with clients and identify future opportunities
  • Create road maps, interactive prototypes, necessary documentation
  • Responsibility for project delivery, from requirements through testing and training

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Research work: conducts and/or coordinates detailed market research in order to understand and analyze the needs of customers. Extensive research is also required to get a detailed knowledge of competitors.  He/she must accumulate sufficient knowledge about the marketplace, the competition and customer needs to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of any product development activities.
  • Management work: will help manage product enhancements from the inception stage. He/she should develop and implement new strategies to get a strong hold in the market and be actively involved in advertising and promotional campaigns.
  • Analysis work: must study the market trends and be able to analyze customer needs based on the post sales results of the products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of work experience, preferably within IT consulting (Big 4 experience preferred, but not required)
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with full life cycle system implementations (requirements, build, testing, training)
  • Specific technologies (preferred, not required): Salesforce clouds
  • Entrepreneurial, well organized, self-motivated, team player
  • Client facing skills such as advanced communication skills and presentation skills
