Main Mission

Within the Architecture and Standards team, you will be responsible for Deploying, Maintaining, Troubleshooting all Tech Solution applications hosted on the Cloud.  IQVIA has a hybrid hosting strategy and you will be responsible for supporting the infrastructure that hosts existing applications on AWS, but also help transition other applications that are hosted internally at IQVIA and will be migrated to AWS.

Your daily activities:

  • Work closely with the DevOps teams and Product DEV teams to ensure smooth transition of Applications hosted on AWS
  • Work closely with the Product Tech Lead to support Incident, Change, Request and Monitoring teams
  • Manage the fleet of servers and optimize utilization
  • Manage and optimize automation tools for deployments, maintenance and Monitoring and Alerting
  • Train existing Paris located resources on AWS technologies
  • Act as the main point of contact to work with the DevOps Architect
  • Work closely with DevOps and Architects to develop the ProdOps strategies
  • You support development teams and the platform team in all projects impacting our infrastructure
  • Drive cloud technologies choices covering storage, multi-tenancy, access management, audit, key management, automation
  • Ensure security and data privacy following regulation
  • Monitor technologies and applicable standards of the domain
  • Drive and monitor the security of the service and third-party components
  • Contribute to development and updates of security policies

    What we are looking for:

  • Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale
  • Experience with technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization
  • Experience with integration of cloud services and hosting SaaS application
  • Good knowledge of networks and systems, privacy issues and regulations
  • Ability to work with teams located worldwide and to interact with different stakeholders
  • Prioritization skills
  • Project management knowledge
  • Customer oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent both in English and French
