Helps drive business goals, objectives and strategies through the use of Web and digital technologies.  Supports execution of the company's Web strategy and initiatives for one or more Web channels.

     Essential Functions
•    Participates in the development of Web strategies and plans.
•    Ensures Web initiatives are delivered on time and within budget and in compliance with corporate Web policies, procedures, and guidelines to govern Web activities.  Specific responsibilities within this area:
•     Manages Web development from a centralized office while supporting decentralized content development from business and corporate groups.
•     Uses market research, usability reviews, site assessments and Web metrics to adjust and enhance Web design, content and functionality.
•    Manages external vendor and partner relationships, contracts and technologies and provides supervision to junior staff as directed.
•    Proposes use of new media, including social media, and other technological applications to enhance corporate communication and company reputation.
•    Measures results of Web initiatives and reports results.
•    Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.  Responsibilities include planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems; and approving actions on human resources matters.
